Argyll & Bute Celebrates SVQ Success
Our Argyll & Bute Locality today held its SVQ Level 3 Candidates & Assessors awards at the Stag Hotel, Lochgilphead.
Austen Smyth, Chief Executive, was on hand to present certificates to people from the Isle of Bute, Kintyre, Cowal, Dunoon, Mid-Argyll and Oban. In total, eight SVQ Level 3 Assessors and thirteen SVQ Level 3 Candidates received their award.
Argyll & Bute Locality Manager, Frances Macarthur, said:
"There has been a lot of hard work and commitment from the managers and staff to complete their awards, under very difficult circumstances both geographically and in terms of personal time. Everyone involved in the initial tranche is now committed to supporting fourteen new candidates in their SVQ Level 2 & 3 awards over the next year. We’re delighted that Austen took the time out to recognise everyone’s hard work.”
