Minister opens new Care Home in Glasgow
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland was delighted that the Minister for Housing and Communities, Alex Neil, conducted the opening ceremony for our new Care Home in Arden, Glasgow. This purpose built accommodation commissioned by Glasgow City Council and developed by Glen Oaks Housing Association will offer high quality accommodation to eight people.
The building lies within the heart of Arden, close to local amenities. Being built around a garden ensures the building offers a bright and spacious living environment. All bedrooms are en-suite with a choice of lounges and dining areas on offer.
The partnership with Glen Oaks Housing Association provides new opportunities for TRFS to establish relationships with local people and better help meet community needs.
