Post: Support Assistant (2 Posts) - 9 months fixed term

Base: Bellshill, North Lanarkshire
Hours of Work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Starting salary: £13, 507 per annum 

On-call Duty/sleepovers are required for these posts. Split shifts required for one of these posts

Applications are invited from candidates to work within a social care setting, providing flexible cover to support people with a learning disability/mental health problem/Autistic spectrum and people who may present behaviour deemed as challenging.

The successful applicants will work in partnership with a staff team in the provision of care to the individuals who requires support with every day living. This involves directly assisting with activities such as general housekeeping, personal care, social and recreational activities as well as helping the individual to develop meaningful relationships and links within their local area. Lone working will be involved and Safer Handling.

A relevant qualification in care is desirable, but not essential, as we will offer you the opportunity to participate in training courses relevant to your post. We offer continuous training and excellent terms and conditions of employment.
