It's your life

We want you to have the life you want. We can support you to have fun, become more independent and enjoy a better quality of life.

All of our services support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.

We are person-centred, which means we listen to what you want and what is important to you. You will decide on your support and direct what happens.

We also believe in inclusion. Inclusion is:

  • feeling you belong
  • a good life
  • friends and relationships
  • a sense of purpose
  • interests, hobbies and work
  • rights and choices
  • freedom to be you

We believe that you can and will recover. Our staff will support you on your journey to find the best ways to cope and to move forward in your life.

Having your say

You will always be able to have a say about the support you receive. We will listen to what you say and respect your wishes. We will encourage you to make decisions about your own support.

We will also ask you if you would like to be involved in helping improve our organisation. Read more about having your say here.

Our staff

Our staff are passionate about helping you to achieve a better quality of life. Our staff are all trained and supervised to make sure that they understand how to support you. All our staff work towards Scottish Vocational Qualifications in Health and Social Care. We will listen to what you say about our staff and respond to your wishes.

Our results

Our regulators the Care Inspectorate assess whether we meet the requirements of the National Care Standards and the improvements we have implemented in our services.

In 2019/20, 94.4% of all services were graded as ‘good’ (4), ‘very good’ (5) or ‘excellent’ (6) across all assessed themes. 67.6% of our services were in the ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ categories.

We also do an annual survey with people we support. This year, 94% of individuals responded that they ‘always’ or ‘usually’ get the right support from the organisation. The same percentage said we ‘always’ or ‘usually’ help them feel safe in their own homes.
