The Engage Service is a community based person centred support service for people aged 16 and over who have a learning difficulty.

Individuals are supported to access community activities of their choice in everyday community settings. We help people access local leisure, social, vocational, educational and voluntary opportunities. Our am is help build confidence and increase social skills working towards accessing activities independently. The service uses individual support and development agreements to focus on the person’s needs and wishes and recognising their unique talents, skills and strengths.

Referrals are only through the Community Learning Disability Team who fund the service. Once we receive a referral, arrangements are made with the person to meet at a convenient time and place to discuss their needs and interests. Each person we support has a key worker which means that they have responsibility for the support of that person and our staff are all highly trained, friendly and efficient.
