Gifhorn House service is a community support service, situated in Dumfries town centre, close to local amenities and shops. People supported have there own tenancies with Loreburn Housing Association.

The service supports vulnerable individuals with varying degrees of need. People supported have individual packages of support based on their level of need, people are supported with tasks such as; cooking, shopping, domestic tasks, budgeting, emotional, physical needs; we also provide support to access education or employment. The support is very much person centred, where the person is supported in their desired way.

The service also provides ways to involve people in the local community and in the running of their service.

The staff team have vast amounts of experience and have to complete a robust training and induction programme.

Our last Care Inspectorate inspection awarded us “Excellent” in all areas inspected.
