Congratulations Lewis!

Huge congratulations to Lewis Murray-Smith, from our Glasgow Services, on winning a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the ‘Living Your Best Life’ Category of the Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities’ (SCLD).

The award recognises the progress Lewis has made over the last few years with the support of his TRFS support team and his family.

Lewis was nominated for the award by his support team who completed an extensive application process highlighting the improvements Lewis has made in his life in areas such as his volunteer work, personal fitness and diet, accessing his local community, and living as independently as possible.

Lewis’s life has improved so much with the support of his family and his staff team, including a reduction with medication and the removal of restrictions and CALM.

Everyone agrees that Lewis is hugely deserving of his award and are absolutely delighted for him!
