It is important for people to to get involved, make connections and have fun.  Martin, from our Sheriff Park Service, has found it difficult to keep and make friends during COVID-19 and was delighted when restrictions began to ease!

"Times have changed during Coronavirus. My bus pass was going to expire, and  had to be renewed, but I couldn’t do it the usual way, it had to be online! Luckily, staff applied for it online, and I am so glad I have received it, as I need it to get about.

During COVID-19 and lockdown, I really missed going to Flourish House. I was so happy when restrictions eased, allowing me to finally go back. I have made a lot of friends there, and it’s so nice to get back to see everyone, it fair cheered me up and lifted my spirits! I love being useful and feel included by helping out in the kitchen there, making my very own speciality tomato and basil soup for everyone to enjoy for lunch"
