James's very special visit!
We develop and deliver the best personal supports that listen to what people want and help them to achieve the things that are important to them. Staying connected to his mum is very important to James from our Neilston service, especially on a very special day!
At the end of January, James visited his Mum for her Birthday at Hector House Care Home.
However it wasn’t just any birthday! It was his Mum’s 101st Birthday and James wasn’t her only visitor! STV News was there and The Lord Lieutenant popped by with a birthday message from the Queen! There was a very special video from ‘The Big Yin’ Sir Billy Connolly and there was a delivery of tens of thousands of cards with birthday messages from people all over the world too!
But the most important visitor Mrs Clayton had for her birthday was James.
Until last August, James and his Mum would meet up every other Saturday at his house to spend the day together. James and his Mum are devoted to each other and visiting his Mum now in her Care Home is the highlight of his week (as well as his Sunday Morning Fry Up).
