Eden Scott Raises over £1,300 at Aberdeen Fundraiser

80 of the city’s oil and gas professionals attended a charity fundraiser last Thursday, raising £1,376 for The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, a local charity which provides social care services to over 2,800 people across Scotland.

Eden Scott, an Aberdeen based recruitment business, hosted the event at city hot spot, NOX nightclub, with representatives from over 20 of Aberdeen’s oil and gas businesses coming along to show their support and win the plethora of prizes on offer which were all donated by local businesses.

The CNR International team picked up the top gong on the evening, racking up the most points across the 7 quiz rounds.

Caroline Jay from Cape won the coveted raffle prize; an overnight stay at the sumptuous Scottish mansion, Archerfield House.

James Milne, Managing Director of Eden Scott Aberdeen commented “This was our first charity fundraiser and we’re absolutely delighted with what we’ve been able to achieve. It’s fantastic to see so many of Aberdeen’s professionals come along to support such a deserving charity.

The money raised from Eden Scott’s charity fundraiser will be used to build a sensory garden for 8 young people with low-functioning autism. The garden will include a sunken trampoline and sensory net swings as an outdoor space for them to enjoy.

Linsey Gallacher, Area Manager for The Richmond Fellowship, is immensely grateful to the Eden Scott Aberdeen team, “the team at Eden Scott have devoted a great deal of time and effort to raise these funds and I would like to thank everyone in the local community who has supported them, both financially and otherwise, for helping make the new sensory garden a reality.”

The Eden Scott will now be climbing Ben Nevis on 31st may to raise more funds. If you would like to support them then you make a donation here: https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/edenscott
