Wish you were here? Our new recruitment campaign

Thursday 23 June 2016

Sessional staff work alongside staff teams providing cover for absence, annual leave, vacancies and other staff shortages. Hours worked are flexible and by negotiation, so you can chose to work when and how much you want.

Wish you were here

We need more of them so we have launched a campaign to attract recruits from: -

  • Glenrothes, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath
  • Kirkcaldy, Cupar, St Andrews
  • Edinburgh, Livingston, Midlothian
  • Falkirk, Stirling, Stirlingshire
  • Hawick, Galashiels, Kelso

Working as Sessional staff is ideal for people from a variety of backgrounds who cannot or do not want to commit to regular hours. For example:-

  • Lucy is a full time mum but now her family is older she is looking for an interesting job, close to home, which fits around her other commitments where she can use her interest in other people and lively personality.
  • Freddie is in his final year at college. He doesn't know what he wants to do next but is thinking about a career in Care. A sessional staff post will give him the chance to work with different groups of people before he decides what he wants to do next year.
  • Milly has an office job during the week but would like do something else at the weekends which will give her extra income as well as doing something useful and of value.

Sessional staff benefit from the training, good conditions of service and being valued employees that all staff with TRFS enjoy including TRFS rewards giving savings in over 850 online and high street retailers.
