Kieran in Rio 2016

Thursday 8 September 2016

We're immensely proud that one of the people we support, Kieran Steer, is making his Paralympic debut at Rio 2016.

Kieran, who is from Crossgates in Fife, will be competing in Boccia - a precision ball sport, similar to bowls.

We have been providing Kieran with support for over a year now and this includes helping him to his training which can be in Stirling or Guildford and a few other far flung destinations.

Roz Anderson, our Team Manager, said, "Thanks to the flexibility of our staff, we have been able to be responsive to Kieran’s schedule and so far his support is working well."

We are also helping Kieran raise the £10,000 he needs to buy a wheelchair better suited to his needs. If you would like to help and contribute then you can visit Kieran's Just Giving page here:

Good luck Kieran!
