Celebration of Success
On 25th April, Central Region celebrated our annual Celebration of Learning event where SVQ candidates over the previous 12 months came together with the Learning Team and Managers. People were celebrating gaining a range of qualifications to help them meet their registration requirements.
The event was hosted by Jane Black (Regional L & D Manager) with speeches from Kate Haycock (Director for Central Region) and Erica Stewart-Jones (Head of Learning and Development).
Kate and Erica congratulated all the candidates on the fantastic achievement of gaining their qualifications and the assessors and IV’s were thanked for supporting people through the process. Everyone got their photo taken with Kate as they received a certificate of success and there were lots of whoops and cheers.
The event concluded with cake, crisps and soft drinks. There was lots of mingling and munching as folk shared their experiences and caught up.
The Central Region Learning and Development Team would like to say ‘congratulations!’ to all the candidates who attended and those who couldn’t make it on the day. We are looking forward to next year when we do it all over again with a new group of successful candidates.
