Gold Star for Health & Safety

Thursday 13 September 2018

We have been presented with a prestigious Gold Achievement Award at a ceremony celebrating the RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Awards 2018. Tony Priest, Health & Safety Advisor, received the award at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow today. Tony said, “This award is testimony to the commitment from all members of staff throughout the organisation and their hard work in achieving excellence in Health and Safety and without them we would not have been able to gain this award”.

Karen McDonnell, head of RoSPA Scotland, congratulated The Richmond Fellowship Scotland on their success in winning the Award and commended TRFS on their achievement. The award is in recognition of their commitment and effort to keep their employees and workplaces free of injury and ill health. Our warmest congratulations. RoSPA awards are sponsored by NEBOSH (the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), and is the largest and longest running occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK. It recognises organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
